PRP & Topical Exosome Application | Scalp & Hair
PRP and topical exosome-containing formulations offer an individualised approach for men and women concerned with changes in hair density, thinning areas, hairline changes and overall scalp and hair quality. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, which is processed to concentrate the platelet-rich component before being administered to selected areas of the scalp. Topical Exosome Application is incorporated following scalp mesoneedling, with an exosome-containing professional formulation applied topically to the treatment area in accordance with the treatment protocol.

Your questions,
answered
What are PRP and exosome therapies?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The blood is processed to concentrate the platelet-rich component, which naturally contains platelets, growth factors and signalling proteins. Exosomes are microscopic, cell-derived extracellular vesicles involved in cell-to-cell communication. The professional exosome-containing formulation used at ASC may also contain selected ingredients such as peptides, amino acids, growth factors and hyaluronic acid.
How is the treatment performed?
The prepared PRP is then carefully administered by your Registered Nurse into selected areas of the scalp according to your individual treatment plan. For topical exosome treatment, controlled microneedling is performed across selected areas of the scalp, followed by the topical application of an exosome-containing professional formulation.
Who is suitable for this treatment?
These treatments may be considered for adults concerned with changes in hair density, thinning areas, changes around the hairline or overall scalp and hair quality. A comprehensive consultation is required prior to treatment to assess your scalp and hair presentation, medical history, medications, relevant health factors and individual concerns, and to discuss appropriate treatment options and realistic expectations.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatment plans vary but typically involve multiple sessions (3-6) spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Your Nurse will recommend a personalised plan based on your needs.
When can I expect to see results?
Results may take several months to become noticeable as hair growth is a gradual process. Individual responses vary.
